Well, since mine is a daily driver, it has seen FL rain just about everyday. I solved my "new neighbor's cat on the Vette" problem 2 days ago. So it has seen my pee as well.
Who's idea was it to use pee as a cat repellant on a Vette? I think its working...

I once used the Pacific Ocean as a cat repellent. Or more techinically, a cat attractant. It worked though, the cat hasn't come near my car since.

Only time I wouldn't drive my car in the rain was when the roof was leaking into the passenger seat or if I just finished waxing it. Other than that, I'm not that prissy.
I got caught in a torrential storm a few weeks ago that FLOODED the streets! Even SUVs were pulling over to higher ground. It was coming down so hard that I couldn't even see how high up the door the water came. I'm happy to tell you my vette still runs and it didn't melt.
Highoutput-that pic is priceless.

I have a friend back in Ohio that has a 95. He drove it to work one day and it ended up raining. He had our friend drive him home so the underside wouldn't get splashed. He also puts it up on jack stands and starts it every couple of weeks in the winter.

We get that same weird rain here in Georgia too. I've sat at an intersection perfectly dry and watched cars on the other side of the street with their wipers on high...truly weird stuff. Yeah I drive the Vette in the rain...the only time I won't drive it is if hail or snow is predicted.

Rain that will pour a mile away, and do nothing where you are.
My brother once had it raining in the front yard, whilst he was in the back yard mowing.
Oh, yea, the rain is wack.

to the afternoon rains down here!....ugh!........on a lighter note, if you have to park your car in the sun, the rain would help it cool down to the touch a bit!

Who Cares?
I know this will tick some people off, but when it comes down to it Corvette is like any other car it can get wet and it can be washed . So yes mine has been out in the rain like last night. It really does not bother me.

I have driven mine in the rain. My father, on the other hand, has a '95 Impala that has never seen a drop of rain. I think it has 14k miles on it so it just sits most of the time. He might drive it once a month or so. Seems silly to me but it's his car.

Ever hit a bird? Its dangerous doing 110 on a country road, as it gives the birds just enough time to take off, but not enough time to fly out of the.... THUD!

I drive mine in the rain. In fact, it's pouring down now as I type this and could very well still be raining when I get off from work today.

One time I broke out of a major embedded thunderstorm on close final and I'll be damn if two in flight were in the direct path. (They may have been mating or something.) Never the less, one made it - one didn't. What a mess it made all down the side of the fuselage and into the engine.
