I'm new here, just wanted to say I have enjoyed reading some of the posts and like the rest of you, really enjoy my vette!
I have an 84..... its silver with ground effects, a wing, centerline wheels, new interior with the word "CORVETTE" sewed in each of the seat head rests, and its in my garage as I type this going through a motor rebuild..... I've up'ed the cam to a 470 lift and new aluminum edelbrock performer heads, cant wait till I get it finished !!!!!!
heres a link to a picture of my car and theres many others of it, my other toys and my house rebuild.
hope you enjoy and hope its ok to post this link and I would like to use the the picture as an avatar...... could someone guide me in the right direction to do this ??
one other thing I wanted to ask..... now, the motor part of anything is not a big deal for me, but my stock delco radio quit playing in my vette and the antenna also stopped going up and down when you turn it off and on...... theres still power to the radio as the lights still come on but only a slight static sound comes from the speakers and as I said the antenna is stuck about 4 inches from being all the way back down in the quarter panel.......... ideas ? sugguestions ?
Thanks again !!!!!!

the antenna more than likey has a broken mast, but at that age, it could be doa...
the lack of sound is more than likely a bad relay.
