Custom Shifter *****,You got one?
I made and 8 ball shifter **** for my 95'. I like it,it looks cool in there. I also have made a Q ball also thats highly polished.
What has anyone else done? The stock shifter **** to me didn't feel that great. A friend who has a 01' Z28 had a stock leather ball that felt great. It gave me the idea to make a custom ball seeing as how the camaro had one and the vette didn't. Call me jelious but I wanted a nice look/feel change.
I'll post pics if i can very soon.

I have a flameball, but no pics handy. I also have a Budweiser tap that I thought of using as well as an old Hurst style T-Handle from my Plymouth.

Belive it or not... I've been seriously considering buying a shift *** for a Honda S2000 and re-tapping it to fit my 92's Hurst shifter.
I'm not into the rice thing, but some of them are made of Titanium (some aftermarket ones are made of Alum as well), come in a few different colors, and have to correct 6spd pattern etched on them. In my eye they look damn nice and after driving a S2000 a few weeks ago that shifter felt real good in my hand. In fact it was the only thing I liked about that car.

I had a cueball in my pickup truck growing up. I've looked at many ***** for my vette, but I like the stock one. Scared of getting metal because it will get too hot. My dad has a pistol grip **** in his z06, it sticks up too high for me.....but works great on a roadcourse when you wanna get your hand back on the wheel quickly. All I know is I want a **** that's leather so my hand won't slip off it. The B&M shifter requires more effort than most, so that makes a slick ball even more of a problem. I'd like to get an unmarked black leather **** of somesort, shaped close to stock.

i put the hurst pistol grip shifter handle on my 6speed.it reminds me of my 70 rt charger's(long gone) pistol grip 4 speed.it is such a natural feel,i love going through the gears with it.a touch of mopar helps my vette go faster

Hi heres some pics of my 92' that i altered the shift **** shaft and replaced the original with this Momo shift ****. I had to cut 2 1/2" off the length easily done with a plumbers pipe cutter. Then the shaft in the middle i cut as well as i could with side cutters, then just bent it back anf fourth and it broke where i needed it, i had to come up with some idea to lower the shift **** because when my video screen comes out of the dash it was hitting the shift **** so i had to customize it. I found the shift **** on Ebay. Hope this helps
