Default fleeBay wheels pro/cons

I'm looking at a set of wheels on fleeBay, from a company called OE Wheels. There the Black Corvette Z06 motor sports with rivets 17x 9.5-18x10.5. I'm sure someone has purchased from them. Hows the quality of there products? What about customer service. Give me your good and or bad experience with them.
Thanks

I've had a good experience with AFS Wheels. I never had to deal with problems with a wheel, but they cut me a deal when I needed a replacement that was my fault it was damaged(caliper bolt came out and caliper destroyed the inside of the wheel).

AFS was late on shipping the wheels but I think they gave Ron(forum member: corvetteronw) a discount of some kind.

I got my wheels on Ebay from AFS with tires and all. The price was almost half of what I've seen in other places for the same tires and similar aftermarket wheels. Some places charged as much for the aftermarket wheels alone as I paid for wheels and tires. My experience was good but I've purchsed and sold many things on ebay over the last 9 years. I also know what I'm buying before I buy it or I do a lot of investigating / research before I purchase something of value. Having said that If I had a bad enough experience that prompted me to call the site fleebay then I probably would refrain from buying anything else on it. Stick with what you're comfortable with. It sounds like you may already be expecting to be dissappointed.

I don't know allot about wheels but are these the ones your looking @

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...highlight=tomz

These are being sold on the forum for sale section from a supporting vendor and seem to be a really good price . Like I said though I don't know allot about wheels so this could be a whole different style / grade of wheel then your looking @ . This vendor appears to be selling many different style's on the for sale section though .

Good luck with your venture ,

That is what I have... I purchased through TomzWheels and the service was fantastic... I initially orded C6 wheels, but soon found out that the sizes I ordered wouldn't fit, and didn't want to go with a small width all around... So I called while my money order was on the way and was able to switch my order to the cheaper Black Z06s and got a refund of the difference through PayPal -- absolutely no hassle. Heres a couple pics on my car -- first is rather blurry...

I also have a couple pics of what they looked like when the car was solid yellow in my corvette pics link...

The ones on Ebay are selling for $415.00, 85.00 shipping with free lug n locks and valve stem. Sounds like a very good deal, almost to good to be true. Ive seen them sell for more. The Ebay item # is290021773089.
Thanks for all the replies.

275s up front 295s on the rears... And the price of around $500 shipped is what I remember... A great value -- the tires will cost more than the wheels...

EDIT: not great, but this may be the best pic off-hand of what my rears look like with 295s...

This is the the seller I purchased from and these wheels... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black...6525QQtcZphoto -- I don't know if the price has changed, but that is probably pretty close to what I paid for mine in those sizes... So a little more than what you mentioned..

Many peeps here use them, and are happy..

However, If TomZ is willing to match that price, your REALLY want to go that route.

That I know of, there've been three reported instances of poor service from the seller you cite. However, I and many others have had a very good experience with them. It's your decision.

I have the same wheels in their polished finish. I'm happy with them.
