I'd say YES the C4's will go up in price....In about ten years.
There will be more popular models. Verts for one. GS ZR's and Rubys.
Most importantly the options list will merit the big bucks.
Sadly, the guys whom held onto their C4's from birth expecting big returns will have to wait another 20 years before the value reaches the original sticker price.

Clearly the winners are the purchasers of late as opposed to the people that bought them new. My car may be old technology, but the purchase of my 1988 with 6,900 miles was the best $16,500 that I have ever spent. Thank you, ebay and God!
