Build Sheet Location?

Build Sheet Location?
I have read on the forum that the build sheet is strapped to the Gas Tank on the Corvettes (I have a 1990 Vert) behind the starboard (right) tailight. How difficult is it to get this off of the tank? Do you have to drop the tank? I ordered and have received a copy from the NCM, but was just curious if anybody has retrieved the original from their car and what type of project it was.

On my 85, its glued to the top/front of the gas tank, almost out of sight.
I tried removing it and it disintegrated. Supposedly there's another one in the framerail somewhere.

i've found remnants stuffed into the vertical extension of the front x-member on a couple, not in mine tho.
be very gentle pulling these out, they get constant exposure to road splash and deteriorate.

I already have the reproduction from the NCM, I was just curious how hard it was to retrieve the original one from the car. No big deal, just thought that i would go after it for the hell of it.
