Seems to be a lot of that going on here lately (sell/trade C4 to move to the newer C5), I don't think it's a bad thing. I'm not going to say moving up, as that usually brings in peoples comments...... I'll just say congrats, post pictures of the new ride, and enjoy.
Guys, I still can't believe I'm sitting here typing this. I have been a C4 fanatic for soooo long. I promised myself that it would be a cold day in hell before I bought a C5, so what do you suppose I did this morning.....
2000 Coupe, every stinkin option available, white ext./black int. chrome Millenium wheels, 40K on the clock, needs tires, $21K
Guy down the street gave me $13K for my 91, so I guess I'm happy, I hope I'm happy...awww, my wife is tickeld pink, so I guess I did the right thing. I still have a twinge of guilt. C4's are just such awsome cars, I really hope that I enjoy this C5 as much. I told the guy down the street that if he didn't like my 91, to contact me first before he turned around and sold it. I'd buy it back in a friggin heartbeat.
I get the car tomorrow, and I'll post pics when I get it.
Dammit, why do I feel so crappy about this move.....
Man, what a rat! You'd be the last one I thought would jump ship.
You never even mentioned wanting a C5. Well that thing in the driveway needs a polish and you're good at that. So its not all bad.
Thats pretty fickle man, a fine young thing, and you're awol. One would think that a Okie would know how to behave?
$13,000 for your 91 that was all the money but it was a nice car.
For punishment you should be whiped with a serpentine belt.
The run flats from what Ive heard are $2,000. For that reason alone Id stay away from them.
Some people have no shame, you'll never see me in a C5 I can't afford one.
Life is the fastest ride in the universe enjoy what you have left.
Nice pics and congrats, I bet you feel better now that the new vette is in the driveway!
If not, go out, hop in and press your right foot all the way down...see I told you!
2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (appearance mods)
C4 of Year Winner (appearance mods) 2019
Hey, I don't want to ruin your day, but you paid $8K diff to trade up. By the time you buy new tires and pay tax, you could have had ANOTHER C4! One auto, one stick. Two different colors.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it! Maybe that's what's botherin you?
