Default Rugh Idle

I was washng off the engine at the local car wash and I must have got moisture in an 'off limits' area. i can't seem to get rid of the rough idle. There's a stumble on idle and a hesitation when accelerating from stop. What can I do to get it dried out?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'swap car' ? The LS1 was running great just before I washed it. I looked int he owners manual and it says 'don't wash in the V area just above the heads'. I certainly did that.

You got the optispark (distributor) wet. Hopefully, It will dry out.

Oh, if the engine is original. It's an LT1.
