Default Ouch!

This '87 for rebuild is available on AutoTrader ($3500, Corvallis OR)

Addendum: The listing indicated the part(s) to fix were included.

they are smoking crack. There is at LEAST $4k worth of repairs there... and that's not considering what I can NOT see.

The only way that car is worth that kinda $$ is if it's a low mileage manual... and then only if it has a clean title and no frame damage.

I say manual, because then the D44 is worth something... otherwise, it's a fright pig.

These people see "Corvette" and they think $$$. The place selling it probably bought it at auction for between $500 to $1000.

There is a local used car lot who has a earlier C4 with a greenwood kit and they want $12,000 for it. I think it's a '87. It's been there for over a year.

While probably fixable, it's not worth it at that price. It should be bought for parts car value which it'll probably end up as when these dipsticks get tired of sitting on it. It's not worth much over that if it were a driver. I wouldn't even go a grand on it unless I had need of many of the parts myself. There is such an abundance of early C4s being parted out now that it's barely worth a grand for that.

The wheel doesn't look to out of place and the rest would bolt on.

I would send it to a frame shop to be checked

But they are smoking crack on the price.Like $2000 too much

A good used hood is $300-$500 and I just bought a front bumper assy. for $150
