Default New Tool/Fixture

I was having a devil of a time removing a fitting from an intake. So, I thought I'd design a universal fixture that should hold every intake and/or head so I can work the piece.

Here's what I designed:

The angled pieces can be adjusted to any angle. I might cut them shorter in the future, but for now they mount lots of gadgets and are great leverage.

The part that the intake is attached to can adjust all along the angled piece to fit any intake setup.

The parts can universally mount any type of tools or light I need. It will hold everything prefectly level and solid for any machining I need to do.

The whole works can be mounted or clamped to a work table.

Cool, eh?

Very nice, good engineering.... haven't seen any universal jigs for home use... you should market that... What was your cost? Are you planning to make any more - available...?

I made this at my job. We sell this stuff by the truck load. I took it home to snap a few pics for some friends who own an auto mod shop. Thought I'd share.

I am not a vendor on CF, yet. I will be soon, I hope. This and many other fixture ideas are available. I do not want to break any rules, so if you have any specific questions, PM me.
