Default Sinking Headlights

My Headlights are ever so slightly not level to the hood - hardly noticeable really. Is there an adjustment for this?

Yes, you will find an adjustable rubber stop with a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut, and adjust it in, or out, to get them level, then tighten the lock nut back down. They should look like this....

And if they are off right to left or only in one corner you can loosen the cover screws and adjust properly (it will raise or lower the cover with respect to the hood). I spent about two hour after I got my car painted making sure they were level and centered within the hole.

Too funny, you sound like me after mine was painted. My buddies that own the body shop said they were happy I didn't work for them when they were watching me reassemble the headlights. They claimed they would lose money. I asked if they would like to paint the hood again if they weren't adjusted right? I could just see that when I hit the headlight switch, and gouged all the fresh paint up.....

I couldn't agree with you more.

When I got mine painted there was no tape on the car and everything that could come off came off, you talk about the most nerve wracking time I have ever had, putting everything back together and making sure it was not going to hit, rub or scratch anything. My painter told me that if I painted cars as slow as I put things together I would get about one a year done. Could you imagine if we were the installers on a show like Overhaulin, it would take months for one episode.

These guys are good guys, they just like giving me a hard time. When they had this guys $100,000, 2002, ZL-1 Camaro sitting in their shop for 2 months untouched, I asked if the car was going to disassemble itself for paint....

I finally did the diassembly for them because I had an 01 Z28 before the Vette I had now. They weren't laughing when I took this car apart, then put it back together for them after it was painted. The owner is the most **** person you ever want to meet. They thought I was the biggest PITA, I'm not even the sweat on this guys A#$......
