My 95 has 80 plus thousand miles on it..I was thinking of changing the shocks, the car rides well and handles nicely..I am just BIG into doing things before they let go..should I stay with the Bilstiens or is there another brand you guys think work better? I am not concerned about the cost, but want a nice riding, handling car as it is now.
From what I've read, if you want ride and handling similar to what you've got now, stay with Bilsteins. If your "tilt" is toward a bit more handling (read: a slightly harder ride), probably the Koni way or coilovers are the way to go.
Me, when needed, I'll probably go with Konis. I'm pretty certain it will only change comfort a tad based on what I've had in the past with Konis.

Buy the Bilsteins and keep it original, at 80K it's time.
I replaced the stock shocks on my coupe and put the yellow Koni's. It was the best thing I have done so far. I ran with them for 2 weeks and decided to try the adjustments, ahd now it rides and handles great.

I love my Koni's, but if your main concern is ride comfort, stick with "C" series Bilsteins if you can find them for your year, or HD series Bilsteins if you can't.
The Edelbrock is a great cruising shock, as well.
