That 2nd white one you listed looks pretty sharp. I like the body kit and the new panels on the side

You might want to contact the UK NCRS chapter to see if anyone there has a C4 convertible for sale. There should be plenty of experts in their group that can inspect a car for you too.

As a side note I had to change my brake reservoir to a two cup system since the crossover style is no longer available.

Based on what we've seen on this thread, I would say that the seller's response to messages probably reflects the tone of the messages he received.
Sounds like he's just a regular old human being to me....

Flood the market???!! He hasn't seen an issue of AutoTrader or CraigsList, or even the CF, I guess. In any case, he may find himself a tad too late...

Im not a car dealer as the seller is claiming to be, but we all know that *** inports all have dodgy years of manufacture on their paper work
Any way i think i have talked the boy into going for this one.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...9018&rd=1&rd=1
Which is a real 1991,and which is £1500 cheaper, with the added bonus that as my boy wants a red vert the quality time we will spend
on prep work and painting will be worth its weight in gold.
many thanks guys for the input
Hey bro...That second link you sent is NOT a real 1991. That is the incorrect molding and front bumper for 1991, and 1991 was a speed density car not a MAF car as shown in the pic. I would guess that is probably an '88 or '89 model.

It appears both of these cars were listed by the same person or company. They seem shady and I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Yup - "I smell a rat" - as they would say in the old country - and in the new country.

This has "scam" written all over it.

Also Parking Brake Handle and door sills are a good indicator.

hm.... there are lotsa problems, but the best I can figure, this is NOT a Gieger wide body kit. I have seen that kit, and this is NOT that kit.

I donno what it is, but it's not any Gieger I am familier with.

Run, don't walk, away from this car.

Besides, the seller is a total *** wipe.

Second one is either an 88 or 89. 88+ brakes, 88+ A/C, 85-89 interior, 85-89 MAF.

What differences are there between 88 and 89?

Clearly stated that it is an 86 in the specs section at the top but wasn't registered until 1990.
