Well, I installed the Hella lights today. I stayed with the 60/55 power as the orginal. Drove it tonight, ain't sure if they are that much better. You sure can tell the low beams cut off about 6 feet off the ground. And the hi do seem to be longer. Of course for $100 bucks all this just might be in my mind.
Was an easy change. Took about 30 minutes for both sides. And, I found a orginal plastic headlight in the right side. I didn't really think a plastic halogen light would last 12 years. Funny thing I've seen over the years is how long orginal lights last in cars. All cars-Ford, GM , Chyrsler (?), the orginal ones last for years, the replacement ones last a year or two at best--why?
