(Left for the original poster who obviously edited his original post) LOL Every six months or so its amusing to see the same crap like clockwork and yet at the end of the post, it's almost as if its rewarded. In The end, the kid gets his cookie rather than the well-deserved humiliating punishment after his excessive rant of pathetic whining like an adolescent and prepubescent female, pouting and stomping her feet on the floor.
Besides this non-sequitur sob story from an obviously regretful and insecure individual who almost carnally knows all fords are pos's and his new ride could never possibly amount to a vette, what the hell is the point of this poorly attempted pity parade? It's obvious these vehicles are money pits...especially if you pay mechanics to do the work. Only an ignorant fool would fail to see that. You think since the cost of a used corvette drops substantially over the years from its original sticker price making it now "affordable" to obtain for you, that somehow it would now be "affordable" to maintain aswell? Repair services, including hours of work involved and mechanics' hourly pay around the globe will logically never change from the way they were when the vette was brand new at a 33k plus sticker price. High performance = high bills/hours of work/high maintenace no matter which way you slice it. This is all s*** we know up here. We all know including you.....assuming you have even the slightest intelligence, that arguing for a rustangs approval in any sense on a corvette forum is the epitome of futility. Judging by your mannerisms you obviously don't wish to argue in vain. So there leaves yet one possibility...........the need for nurturance among a foolish venture where in your mind, NOTHING was gained and in irony, alot was lost including what you believe to be your dignity. Do you think these ppl will sympathize with you out of pity? Do you think they'll feel sorry for your financial situations or your obvious lack of drive in taking to serious heart and effort any of their potentially valuable advice for what you could have tackled in the past working on the vette yourself? Could it be you're panhandling or do you simply want someone to wipe your *** for you?

Not everyone can afford the finer things in life. That's why they make mustangs. Maybe if you worked harder and managed your money better you could afford to own & maintain a Corvette. Corvettes are a low production car so the maintenance costs reflect that. Oh.....But I don't mean to offend you.
If you want to own a mustang, go for it. But don't come on to the forum and stick your finger in everyone's eye. It's just a matter of CLASS.
Class....a word you obviously know nothing about. That was a pretty tacky thing to say to someone.
Low production numbers? There were about 300,000 C4's built, not to mention the other generations. You can't swing a dead cat, without seeing a C5. That does NOT equate to "low production numbers"
Maybe it should be YOU that doesn't come back, at least until you learn some manners.
WOW, you realy got bent over on this thread. Even though I am not a huge Mustang fan, you bought a very nice looking car. Many happy rides. Also as I have heard on this forum many times, "If your happy with it thats all that matters".
lol...thanks guys...and all i had wrote was my dislike for the Corvette basedd upon my time with mine and the money it takes to keep them going...i simply chose not to put all the money into the car and got rid fo it .....so i edited it to keep peace , i didnt mean for it to cause a stir really.....but some people took it i think that all corvettes are ragged and that wasnt what i was saying.....but anyway ya'll keep those vettes looking good
Larry...you are EXACTLY right...i can say that i did own one.....the dern things are gorgeous hoss...i like the C4 way better than any of the older or newer ones....i see way more of the newer ones than the C4's.....so when i see the C4,it gets my attention quick lol...thanks again everyone for all the advice and help i got...and a Merry Christmas to everyone
Nothing at all wrong with Mustangs - I happen to like them (had a Vortech s/c'd 88GT prior to the Vette). If I needed rear seats, I'd get a Mustang in a heartbeat. The ease of working on them and availabilty of performance parts make them by far the easiest car to make fast. Good luck with the 5.0
Just like C4s, Stangs are a great bang for the buck...I had an 86, stock with an offroad pipe and Flos, one of the most reliable cars I ever had (except for replacing brakes every 7k)...Also had an 84 GT with a 460/C6/4.10 on Nitrous, that was lots of fun. Fun on the cheap

Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
