Bulb Change ???
Iv got the mirror bulb easy enough, the one that shines down on the ashtray
But the same little bulb that goes in the door panel is the problem
The big bright bulb is easy enough, but the little dim(#74) bulb is what I need to get to. (drivers side)
After pulling out lense, there is a black plastic piece that does not seem to come away from the clear plastic lens. Also there is what appears to be a small roll pin where the lamp socket may come apart.
Do I pry the black plastic holder away from the clear lens or do I push out the roll pin then pull the bulb holder out from the black plastic holder.?????
I have a manual but it doesn't seem to address this too well.
Also I want to change the bulbs in the visor mirrors and the manual says to just pop it off. Mirror part doesnt seem to just pop off either.
pulled the lens and the bulb is behind a plastic bulb holder.
What the easy way to get the mirror bulbs in there too.????
Thanks
Snap the clear lens out of the door panel.
(I removed courtesy lamp just to get it out of the way)
Push small roll pin part way out, not necessary to push it all the way out.
Then you can pull the lamp holder out of the plastic housing.
Remove the lamp. Install new lamp.
Push lamp socket back into housing.
Attempt to line up roll pin hole and use small screwdrive to push roll pin back in. (shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 attempts)
Yank the mirrors out of the visor and hope that you dont break anything.
