Start with measuring fuel pressure. See if it pressurizes at key turn on. If the fuel pump relay is not running the pump for a couple seconds, you might not have pressure initially. By cranking you might be building up oil pressure, closing the oil switch for the pump and getting your fuel pressure at that time, or in other words, late. First listen for the pump. You need to measure the pressure at the rail with the proper fittings.
After that check for injector drive or pulses to them using a nod light. If that’s all good, then start looking at the spark.
