I love the speed channel, it seems to be tailor made to the automotive enthusiast. I just got done watching victory by design, they showed and talked about all of corvettes racing history. Man, I hope you guys caught it
Well since this is the C4 section I will say that I am disappointed in their complete lack of coverage for the C4, a few moments in a convertible.
I hope it is just that they couldn't get their hands on a challenge car. A racing series started because they were too dominant in the regular series'.

Reason: too much Gin, spelling sucks
YES! Just finished watching it. It seems that speed channel has been paying closer attention to America's #1 sports car lately. Having recently aired "The last Sting Ray" for six episodes. I am going to dust off the old VCR and try to record Victory by Design as it is on again at 1:00am. All speed channel needs to do now is air the old Route 66 series! True, there wasn't much of the C4 in the show but maybe they'll have episodes of their own soon.

Yeah I too was looking for more coverage of the C4 then they gave it. A great show though, especially if your not too familier with the older models. I enjoyed the history lesson
Caught it as well. It was pretty sweet. Wished they would have at least thrown in a ZR-1. I thougt for sure they would have included one. The L88 and LZ1 cars were badass, not to mention Grand Sport #001
I was really disappointed by the C4 coverage. They mentioned the full length version of the show being available on DVD. I hope there would be more. It was nice to see that they did spread out the rest of the coverage between the C2,3,5 and some mention of the 6. Does anyone own the full Length version of the series at this point to speak up on it? I do love the series in general though, and I was hoping for some more C4 shine.

We were out to dinner with friends last night. I tried to rush it to get home and watch it Only caught the last 20 minutes. It was pretty enjoyable. Anyone know when it will air again?
It was good except the C4 part; major turning point and they made no mention. 2nd longest production model, and no mention of Corvette Challenge, ZR1, Sledge Hammer, Calloway, etc. etc.
As for "ignoring" the C4, I can sorta see why, it succeeded (exceptionally, BTW) only at the showroom stock levels, and never in the "bigs," so to speak.
Yes, the Challenge cars did set the foundation for the C5R and C6R.

I saw it too. But like most of the Corvette history shows they omit or nearly omit the C4. I would say most all of these types of shows just **** me off. I am so tired of them ignoring the C4! I would at least expect them to mention the ZR1.
In fairness to VBD, they totally omitted the Ferrari 308 which many of us saw every week for eight years on Magnum P.I. I've known about other Ferraris but that model will always be the one that comes to mind first when I think of Ferrari.
When I think of Corvettes, I still conjure up an image of a 1978 Aniversary Ed. two tone grey/black.
Awesome show, but being a C4 (95) Owner, was a bit dissapointed they only spent like 5 minutes on it, saying is was one of the largest selling class in history..Pretty Cool !!
