Key release button
Is there a key release button or lever on a 1988 convertable with manual tranny? I don't see anything on the column and the key won't turn all the way back to the lock position. The lock is worn enough that the key will still come out.

Has to be in reverse in order to lock steering wheel and remove key.If that's not working, maybe the park lock cable needs some attention.
