Default Help with CCM codes

1993 coupe
Finally pulled the codes from the CCM to see what was making SYS flash. In module 1, the codes C13, H13, and H 74 flashed. In module 4 & 9 , just three - - - came up which means no codes. I found some info for C13 DIC switches open or shorted, but don’t know what H13 & H74 indicate. Any help.

I don't, but generally anything with an H means it's History and it's no longer a problem. Clear memory and see what comes up with a C or Current.

thanks, I forgot about the C & H. I can't clear the codes using the buttons as described in the book, so I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes. It now has C13 & H 13. THe H74 is gone. 74 is the LED display dimming output circuit open or shorted to ground. I've been shopping around on Ebay in hopes to find the trip monitor switch / buttons.

This thread should help.

It appears that you have an oxygen sensor issue with the C13. The 74 code is typically related to installation of an aftermarket stereo. It can be remedied if you do have an aftermarket stereo though. If you don't, I'm not sure what's causing that particular code.

These codes are taken while in module 1, which is the CCM, not the ECM

Gotcha. Sorry about that. I missed that part earlier. I'm at home now and just dug out my FSM.

If you want the info regarding troubleshooting the C13 code, let me know and I'll send you a copy of the page out of my service manual. I don't have a scanner at the house, so I'd have to take a picture and send that to you. If you think it'll help let me know and I'll do that for you.
