There is a high and a low horn. So yes, two different horns. (My driver's side horn was out and it sounded absolutely pitiful without both horns.) I do have an extra passenger side horn off of a '93 if you're interested.

When I first got my Vette the horns sounded pitiful. I thought that either the relay was bad, or the horns were cheap aftermarket replacements by the previous owner. The relay checked out as good and the horns were the original factory units. When I went to remove them to take them to an auto-parts place for louder replacements, I noticed that there was a small silver adjustment **** sticking out the back side. The **** appeared to be frozen in place due to some corrosion. I figured I had nothing to lose by breaking the **** on an already "broken" horn, so I used a small Vise-grip and twisted the **** about 1-1/2 turns; then reconnected the horn. It was MUCH louder! I kept twisting and tweaking it until it was as loud as possible with the tone I liked best. I remounted the horn, but left it disconnected and went to work tweaking the horn on the other side unitil it was as loud as possible. I then reconnectd the first side, and both horns have worked fine ever since.
Identical replacements are at any auto parts place that are twice as loud. They are A and F tone. I love punishing errant and askew drivers whereas previously it sounded like a Barbi Vette.
