Here is our son Born Feb 26. Man I guess I will have to put a few things on hold. Hope someone builds a car seat for the Vette.

Congrats!!

My '84 doesn't have air bags, so I strap the carseat in and reassure my 3 year old that "Daddy knows what he's doing" and off we go-I don't think he yet appreciates that noise, heat, and bouncy ride.

Congrats. My first was born just about 24 years ago. Best day of my life. I can't tell you what a rush it was... wait, I don't have to, you just found out!

The vette stuff may have to go on hold for a bit. It's worth it.

Congrats!

My 3 year old nephew's car seat fits perfect in my Vette. Plus, he loves riding in the Vette. He favorite thing to say is "Faster Faster!" No, I don't drive over the speed limit or do anything risky when he's in the car, but I'll take off fast from a traffic light or a stop sign and he gets a kick out of being pushed back in the seat.

The first year is rough. I was very lucky with my daughter. She has always been a good sleeper. From the day we brought her home, she has slept almost through the night. 1st 6 months she made it to about 4 am before waking up for a snack. From 1 year old, until now, she sleeps right through.

I can't wait. I plan on handing him the keys to my 85, hell by that time perhaps the car will have some classic value to it. I could really care less, but many would it be cool to be 17 and drive a 40 year old car.

Thanks
