Hey guys and gals.....
Normally I am in the c5 section, but I came across a c4 that has caught my attention and was wondering what you guys and gals thought this was worth. I have an opportunity to buy a 93' Triple black convert. With 106K. Very clean car with a Z71 exhaust. The power motor on the driver’s side seat doesn't work, but other then that it is a beautiful car. I can pick it up for under 7g's. Any thoughts?

A&B Investments, in Corvette Magazine, says the '93 vert:
in "needs TLC condition = $10K
in average condition = $17.5K
These are dealer prices, not private sale, and are for low-mileage cars.
I'd say, if you want the car, the price is a very good one.
Hey there msd44, if you don't buy that 93 how about pming me where it is so I can buy it? Sound like a steal unless it happens to be a salvage title.
That is a good point to note. Otherwise, it sounds pretty good, but you still might want to do a carfax on it and have it technically checked over on a lift by a qualified, Corvette-knowledgeable technician.
I would venture to say that is a fantastic price. Being that the car is in ABQ I would say that there is no rust damage. IF the title is clean I would buy it in a heartbeat because you could detail that baby up and do a quick turnaround and sell it and make money or simply keep it for yourself. Shoot, for that price, if it is running pretty good you won't have to spend much at all. These cars aren't that hard to work on either. They are alot easier to work on than a C5. I always dread starting a project on my C5 but have no problem at all getting in there and getting my hands dirty when it comes to my C4. As others have stated, do a CARFAX check and then hire an independent inspector. They normally charge about $100. Usually the inspection and CARFAX will offer a buyback program if you buy it and they said there were no problems. Anyway, good luck with the purchase.
