Default Side Lights

I just got a 1990, and have a question about the "white" side lights. The front side lights work with the turn signals like they shoud. I can not figure out any time that the rear side lights come on. I traded bulbs front to rear, and the front still works, the back doesn't. Under what conditions should the rear side lights come on, and where should I look if they don't?
Thank you

The back left and front right (i believe) marker lights are no longer made so you have to find them at a used parts dealer.....I learned this the hard way

That is correct. The rear lights only come on in Reverse.

I agree, on with back up lights. Go to www.vette2vette.com or www.contemporarycorvette.com for good used ones.

Thank you all for your information. Reverse was not one of the conditions I thought about testing. I will test it this evening.

reverse only....and imho they are some of the best "back-up" lights on any vehicle....great illumination on the sides and the rear...you won't see that on a C5 or C6........
