Just as a note, sometimes Corvette clubs will bring him out to their area for a day. About three years ago he came out to Delaware and looked at/fixed a bunch of C4s - I remember being stunned that he had the page numbers on the Helms memorized ...
While @ Carlisle he will look "members and non members" cars @ no cost and either fix them or diagnose the problems. Every person that has gone to his class has said it was WELL worth the money and a great time.......
Personally I hope to go to his class myself as soon as my "traveling" stops!!

Thanks! I'll pass it on to my wife. Now I can look forward to my birthday present this year. Ah, the gift that keeps on giving...

He's been out to the Mid Missouri Corvette Cup in April for the last 3 years. Gives a seminar class and walks around the parking lot looking for C4's to fix
So Gordon has like 50 Vette's to be worked on after class? How long does it take him to look at a car and fix it? It would take my mechanic 3 years to work on 50 Vette's.
Well, I talked with Mrs. Killebrew yesterday. She'll be mailing me the 2007 C4 school schedule which I'll post once it arrives. BTW, they'll be in the Netherlands and Belgium for the next few weeks - apparently they've got a couple C4 schools to do over there...

Sounds fascinating, I read he will work on your car. What will he tackle anything he sees that needs attention ? I would like to attend one of
his classes. What is his background ? What makes him the C4 expert ?
I am not doubting that he is just asking for my own information.
I would like to attend a two day class this year. I am going to post a thread i the regional section, but lets see if we can get 5 - 12 forum members to attend the same class. PM me and let me know and lets do it!!!

IIRC he was the lead in-house engineer for the C4 on the production line. He wrote the shop manual.
Now that I have a C4 again I hope to do his class.
When I had my 88 at one cruise in he adjusted my wiper blades and came up with a way for my blower to work until I could get it home and replace it - all at no charge!.
Gordon is absolutely amazing. He knows what color every wire is in the C4. I heard him in a "free" lecture at Carlisle and was very impressed. If you need to know about C4s, he does.
