I have met him a couple times myself. He picked my car as a celebrity pick at Funfest 2005, so I had him sign my build sheet and we discovered my car was built the day he retired.

No, I haven't been to his 2 day seminar. But I watched and listened to his "sold out" crowd/lecture at Carlisle this past summer. They had to add chairs for his over one hour question and answer session.
Then, I kinda followed him back to his booth. Along the way, two guys from upstate PA asked him to look at their cars with some problems. For well over 20 minutes he fiddled with their cars, and made suggestions, asked them about what it was doing, showed them where things might be off, etc.

I guarantee this: those two guys, if they didn't think great things about G. Killibrew before (which I'm fairly certain they did), they sure did afterwards.
Is he the end-all, be-all in Corvette land? Maybe not, but he sure is willing to give of his time and knowledge. That's more than you can say for a lot of people.
The only problem is, every link on the site other than the one below, returns an error message. Including the Contact Us page. Also the schedule of classes posted on the one page that does work is for 2006...
Back a while, we had several threads talking about the dual mass flywheel and it's balancing. I spent the bucks and called Gordon about it and he was very thorough and sent me some literature on how the factory balanced the LT1. To me it was worth the $50 as I had to replace my dual mass flywheel and wanted a somewhat balanced set up. It worked. If I had another problem that seemed impossible to solve, I'd call him. BUT, you have to have your question refined or the call will break the bank.
In regards to Gordon, my wife says; "ahh the guy that fixes everybody's corvette".
He is an awsome person. My wife and I went to Funfest last year and attended his seminar. He had a nice talk and showed us some toys he sold and then started working on peoples cars. I asked him about my hood alignement and he simply said where's your car, grabbed a handfull of tools and headed off. In 5 minutes he had the hood realigned, the side panels realigned and had shown me half a dozen other tips. Before I could thank him he was off to pull the intake manifold off of a ZR-1 that had injector problems. There is no one else like him.

I flew to TN and attended Gordon's 1 day 102 class in 2003. It was so useful that in Sept. 2005 I drove my 88 Coupe from CA to TN and back for the 2 day 103 class. (roundtrip mileage 3,500) You definitely want to take your Vette there or you miss out on a lot of help. Gordon knows the "factory stock" C4 so well he can point out all the stuff any previous owners did that you might assume is stock but isn't.
At that time it was $400 for the 2 day 103 class. It was a great road trip in my C4 and the class was worth every penny. We went over my Vette with a fine tooth comb, fixing and fine tune adjusting everywhere. Gordon supplies a big book full of info to take home as well.
The hood light cutoff switches he now sells from his web page were my idea. I explained that I wanted to make switches with standard GM connectors which would slip between the factory connectors for the hood lights giving me a way to turn on or off the lights when the hood was up for a long time. I wanted them to require no wiring mods and be easily removed. Gordon said "Lets see if we can make up a pair". So we went into his shop where he has tons of spare C4/GM stuff and did just that. Now he sells them and I think that they are a great "mod". I don't have to pull the fuse, I don't unplug/re-plug the connectors and the connector ends don't hang open to the elements. Just flip the switch.
This world is full of "mechanics" who barely know what they are talking about and want to charge you $50 ~ $100 per hour. With Gordon, you can have a world renowned C4 expert advise you, and help you work on your car for one or two 8 hour days. That's $25 per hour for advice from an expert who KNOWS what he is talking about.
Great testimonials but if the class schedule posted on his web site is from 2006 and the Contact Us page doesn't work, how are you supposed to get in touch with him? Anyone have a phone number?

He was a Cruise In last year and had a tent set up in the parking lot. I drove my "new-to-me" LT4 over to have him look at it. He showed me where to pull the fuse for the underhood lights instead of having to unplug the connectors. He also told me that the later C4 convertibles have a Baseball, Apple Pie and Chevrolet Bow Tie pictures embossed on the fiberglass panel above the passenger rear speaker. I did not want to rip the carpet up to find out but someone here actually posted a pic of them.
He also gave a huge compliment to the previous owner's cleaning prowess by stating, "This is a garage kept car!" Way to go Brandt!
