Default Finally a C5 waves

Gave me the 4 fingers which I thought was pretty cool. Had to have been an ex C4 owner.

Aw .. come on. It's not a C4-C5 thing. I've got both and I've been snubbed by both C4 AND C5 guys in both my cars. Some people just don't get it. I continue to wave at all Corvettes, whether they respond or not. Actually I get more waves from non-Corvettes and pedestrians than from other Corvettes of any era.

WMAO in Indiana...

Must be a FL phenomenon. I get a lot of C5 waves here in VA.

Today, on a 200 mile trip in the C5, I passed 4 different C4's and I being a well trained C4 owner,I waved. All of them had this dumbfounded look and only one recovered fast enough to wave back. Probably the first time they saw a C5 wave.

i too live in tampa and this is so true, they dont wave back at us ... why cause they have a newer vette? well at lease we own ours  !!!! well i am sure there are so nice c5 owners out there.. people just dont get it its all apart of a owners group... if they think they are too good for us owell ... we get it in the viper as well, when we go to car shows in tampa " ronnies " we park by our selfs and the vette park by there selfs , we dont look at their that often and they dont look at ours.. but i have a vette so im not going to say this and that.. my brother is the owner of the viper... i just have an C4!!!!

Maybe it's location
Yesterday I got two C5 wave's. Cute blonde in a Navy coupe, and she actually beat me to the wave. The other was on the Freeway, we were both in the left lane, Silver Z06.

I just realized I wave with four fingers:eek:.

I get a lot of waves back. I find that no geneation has more "non wavers" however. Every generation has their no wavers.

I am such a friendly guy, I make a concerted effort to roll my window down and stick my hand out the window :D I firmly believe in the tradition of waving at fellow owners... even people who just appreciate Corvettes. Although I am still getting accustomed to one Mississippi custom... when driving in the country (there is a LOT of it here), EVERYBODY waves. My gf had to teach me to wave (back) at everybody in the boonies, b/c they ALL wave at you (no exageration).
