Yep. High price for high miles. You can find a better deal all day long, even now in the Spring.

Also, Rickreeves1, your car is beautiful!!!

Do you think the dealer has a lot of room to negotiate? I know it's a hard question to ask because everyone is different, but I'm thinking about just trading in my 99GT, it has 144,000km's (89,000 miles) and some cash. Could I start at $13,000? Or would the sales guy laugh? lol!!
I wouldn't buy a vintage vette from a dealer. Not a regulare dealer anyway. Maybe specialty car or corvettes only. A regulare dealer will try to scalp you on a car like that.

A lot of great vettes are for sale here in the forum, and you'll pay (generally) a reasonalbe market price.

Polo Vettes might break down less but the Black ones got a special ECM tune to make them faster.

I just bought this 96 LT-1 corvette 3 weeks ago and it was $17,000. It has 34,8XX miles on it. I say you should try to lower the price cause that is too high.
