I finally got around him, gave him a good look at my "DIE HPPY" plates and dropped it into 2nd gear and chirped the tires and belched out a nice bit of smoke (leaking valve seals).

He probably thinks Corvette drivers are a-holes too.

I love how your plates can be interpreted in two different ways. Either one is good too.

My time is too valuable to waste it on your coworker's ignorance, so I'm going over to OT now.

Life is too short to drive an appliance. That aptly describes most cars on the road.

Very funny! I could say a lot about Prius (appliance) drivers, but since none of it is nice, I'll hold my tongue.

That's a good idea. You had your unfrozen caveman lawyer kind of nervous.

See personally, I think it's much more of a problem when posters like this hate other Corvette owners due to jealousy or whatever. Your little Honda driver isn't worth the bandwidth of this thread.

TT85,
Also has a dislike toward the corvette in general
That is a very elementary belief, in my opinion.

Why? Has he ever owned one? Ever driven one?

Keep in mind he doesn't like a car that goes back to 1953 and is currently in it's 6th generation of styling and enhancements.

A car that has changed drasticly in it's 54 years and just keeps on getting better.

A car that will turn heads almost everywhere it goes.

A car that is appealing to the eye, it looks "sexy", with it's curves and sharp nose.

For someone to say that they just don't like the Corvette in general tells me that the person saying just doesn't know Corvette enough.

OH and by the way, I don't wear a gold chain. I drive a 3/4 ton Chevy daily. And I'd have to agree with whomever said, "log chains" is more like OUR style. That would be me.

I still haven't seen that. Of course I live in the south where "Guido" would get trashed by a bunch of good 'ol boys.

I don't know about you, but I don't think too many of us are wearing leisure suits strutting around Cranston, Johnston, or North Providence, RI with our gold chains. Maybe a few guys are still stuck in the 70s.

He wishes he had a masculine car like us instead of looking like Orville Redenbacher's grandson and driving home in his Jetta.

You should be proud to have any Vette and drive the best car out there.
Gee you made me feel bad, I still run around in blue jeans, and a hotrod tee shirt, chrome shades. cigarettes rolled up in my sleeve I must still be stuck in the 60's
