Default Quick emblem question

Hi there. I just recieved my new emblems today and the hood emblem has no nuts or even THREADS to put nuts on. It says it is genuine gm parts, but from everything i read it sounds that they SHOULD atleast be threaded. Anyways whats my best bet to get these babies on the car? thanks!

Get an assorted package of speed nuts at auto zone or someplace, the'll cut threads on the studs

Great thanks.. Is it best to cut the threads with it off or just do it on the car?

Do it on the car that way it will stay tight. Your original should have the speednuts on it, when you remove the original one just put a dab of silicone in the socket so you don't lose the nut or you will have to go fishing with a magnet. You can reuse the original speednuts with no problem. If you don't have the originals then a trip to the hardware store is needed.

Call me crazy, but from the wise words of a long time forum brother, I used rubber vacuum/windshield washer hose. That's right, I cut two pieces off of a hose, then reached in and put them on. That sucker is tight! You will not be able to pull them off easily, unless tools are used. Give it a shot, you can always try the speednuts later. Good luck.

Another good tip don't peel the tape off the back of the emblem and stick it on the hood that way if you want to take it off easy you can to clean or wax under/around it then put it back on. Pipe
