There's aguy here locally with an add in the paper for a set of 4 tires/wheels from a 90 for $450...I might want to do that. Plus it gives me a good excuse to buy new tires if his are old...I just hope he calls me back
Well...yea...smacked is a good word...on the way over the curb too. It put a little scratch on the front fender directly over the center of the tire too...I guess I'll find out how touching up metal flake works.
That sucks dude. I feel petty now with my complaint. (Dahmm kids) I've been there too. I was driving in Florida. As you know the roads are built much differently than in NJ. Long story short, I ended up with a bent rim and two flats on my Z28 while on vacation in college. We had to limp all the way back on two baldies I picked up for $50. Not fun. :(
Hope it works out.

Looks like you've been driving in Louisiana. I busted a tire and broke my rim when I hit a pot hole on the interstate, where it is supposed to be safe to drive 70 mph.
BBA,
Your rim looks awful, but it could have been alot worse. I saw my ex- mother-in-law drive over a curb doing about 40 MPH head on. Tore the front wheels and hubs off the car, caught some air like she was Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. Haven't thought about that in years.
Those rims are pretty easy to pickup though, probably need a alignment too. Good luck.
