Default Corvette Summer

We bought our Vette in June and put on 10,000 miles by September! Really enjoyed it. This is our first Vette so, it's really been a blast! How many miles has everybody out there put on this past summer?

Wow 10k in a few months? That's awesome, good to see you are actually driving the Vette and enjoying it, that's the best part bout having one! I got my car last summer, and it was at about 50k, now its at 62k, so what took me almost a year you accomplished in a few months, where'd you drive your car? On long cruises or something?

One trip was from Colorado to Bowling Green KY. up to Mansfield Ohio and back to Colorado...3600 miles. The rest have been in the mountains and all around CO., and driving to work. Love it!  :flag :flag :flag

Sounds like you had soem fun. The wife and I are planning a few trips to Bowling Green in the coming year. My 96 only had 10,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 13,600. Haven't really set out on the long drives yet.

My 96 LT4 had 19K on her when I got her and now there is 34,500+. She is my second Vette and she is a blast. Most of my trips have to the Great Smoky Mountains, neighboring states (including one pole I backed into in Atlanta....don't ask...too painful to talk about...). My workout partner and I took a trip from east Tennessee to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY (my Vette is in the pictures from the parking lot on Labor Day 2001...about 1/8 inch in size but I know its her parked there...) then to Metropolis IL for a little casino work. A little over 1000 miles that day...She drove some and I drove some. On the way back we hit serious fog and rain with 0.0 visibility...she was scared so I took the wheel and eased on home...Great day, but one of many with the Vette.....and my workout partner....:)
