Starting My Winter Projects
I did knock off the heater core a while back, but that wasn't a planned project.
I won't get all my list knocked off, but I will start the following list after golf tomorrow.Tighten every fastener I can find in the dash area
dye carpets
install key-less entry
install dvd in dash stereo
install inside window seals
install upper door trim on pass side
install door weatherstripping
burn chip for motor
install new air dam
tint windows
install new floor mats
and what ever needs attention while in progress.
I hope to be on the road within 2 weeks, just in time to terrorize the newly paved road to the golf course.

Thats quite a list, but the floor mats only qualify as a project if you have a C5.

What keyless system are you using? You can probably do the whole thing just at the existing module, it should have all the wires you need there. I remember tapping a second harness, it was in that footwell too, maybe for the hatch pop.

I'm using the Bulldog 1702 keyless entry kit. Bulldog supplies some good info on what wires need to be tapped and where they are located. That and the FSM, should make the install fairly easy.
1 hour till tee time, time for some breakfast

You really said that, didn't you?
