Thats me waving most likely. After 3+ years it still hasen't gotten old. It's amazing how a wave from a C6 can brighten your day. I kind of feel bad too if I don't see someone waving in time to wave back. But most vette owners round these parts wave.

I was out for an early sunday run, and came up our main drag Palm Canyon Dr, anyway its oneway with 3 lanes and I was in the middle lane, coming up on my side was a 06 C6 ( plate said that ) targa with the top off, he promply waved, then as we stopped at the light we had a conversation the rest of the way down the street. I asked him if he ever had the car up to speed, as he went by me he shouted out that yes, you have to test them. I am on a wave streek, all corvettes in the last 2 weeks have waved, they were 4, 5, and 6es. All of the C6 waved immediately, almost as if a light went on that being a corvette owner you are supposed to wave and it is a pretty cool feeling as there are a ton of other hi-end cars out here, but none of them wave to one another to my knowledge.
Okay, I admit it, I don't wave. I want to, but being a new vette owner/driver I just haven't got used to it yet. I'm just too shocked to wave back when someone in a $50K car waves at my POS. Maybe I'll try...

I own a new C6, and I wave (and respect) all Corvette owners. It is not about how old your Corvette is, but rather that you are part of the Corvette family. BTW, I also own a C4. This weekend I had the top down on my C6 roadster. Several nice folks waved at me and several waved back at me. A C5 guy even flashed his headlights from the opposite side of the freeway. It does not bother me when someone does not wave back.
I was out with my son this weekend and passed a C5 and I waved as I always do. As usual, I recieved no return wave. As he pulled up along side us at the next light, my big mouthed son decided to tell the guy what he thought of his snobby attitude. The guy apologized and said he didn't see us wave. I let it go at that even though i knew he was lying like a rug. I then stopped my second born from giving him the one finger salute in the nick of time (after all, he is still one of the brotherhood). What's so hard about returning a wave? It's common courtesy, isn't it?
Im 18 and in high school still. I found out that being a vette owner makes u apart of a special club like.. I guess its because we all have great taste in cars
I went on a corvette run this weekend with a friend of mine who is in a club. It was ok...but after seeing the club members and how **** retentive they are AND how old they are and how slow they drive, I'm not sure they can lift their hands to wave. Now the non waving makes sense. I bought a corvette because it's a SPORTS car. All I heard was winning about the bumps. At 40 miles an hour , there were 1/4 mile gaps between cars. OY!
HEY, I resemble that remark. And the next one too!
