Interior question
When or did the red interior get brighter?
If the 94-96 seats were a brighter red, I'm thinking about upgrading to help match my new shift boot along with getting the new style seat.

I cant really answer your question,BUT if you have whats called "bright red(aka Flame red)" interior,the step up is to "Torch Red" interiors.
Flame or red color code is 733 for 1990 cars.
I dont have the code for the Torch red interior color though.
Someone with a post 93 or newer car can chime in.
Ive seen some later model C4's have Torch Red seats and carpets and it looks as bright as the shifter in the photo.
That type of red seats and etc is BRIGHT!
