The anti theft system can flake out now and then and cause everything to go dead. disconnect the battery to reset the computer.

Is it better to drive it everyday or Garage it and drive it once in awhile

IMO i think driving it everyday is better
Less engine wear on start ups and keep batt charged also

I wonder

As far as your batt i had the same problem and batt went dead storing it over winter could be that it gets dischargered when you store it.
So my batt ended up going bad were i had to buy a new one.
