I shoulda bought a low mile garage queen being as I dont get more than 1000 miles per year due to time..However when I do drive it, I DRIVE it and make up for lost time. Doesnt really matter though, as long as it starts when I turn the ksy and Im having a good time I could are less what the odometer says. Cheapest therapy around.

ever since early january ive had my 88 everywhere. from going shopping to school to work and out of state. with the amount of driving i do per day my car will have about 200k in the next year or so. im closing in on 180k miles right now. ive been racing it a lot lately. hasnt let me down yet and plus it runs 13.8! does much better that talon tsi i used to race!

so i definatly use my car for both pleasure and daily necessities.

my camaro is a different story. fun car on the weekends for showing off to the big boys. i might sell it soon because insurance costs are still eating me up bad! and gas economy is bleh... like 12 mpg in the city. also ls1 motors are just way too technical for me......

IDK, my daily driving is a little different than most on here. In and out 30-40 times a day, back roads, unpaved roads, bad roads and sometimes flooded roads Just not conducive to the vette.

I drove it daily though for about a year. Was fun at first, torture (on many levels) at the end.

Now that it's in storage, I really look forward to climbing OUT of the elephant chaser and into the vette on the weekend

We're almost in the same boat I have an 87 that I love to drive and a 2000 Z28 that I'm selling as well. The insurance is double, almost triple that of the vette, and it just sits most of the time

The LS motor is great, but a PITA to work on...especially since the general saw fit to stuff 1/4 of it under the damned dash!!!!
