Default Request for new rules!

There should be a rule on this forum that bans the use of photos that are beyond a certain size. Some people have huge signatures and when they post a reply, it makes the whole thread a pain in the asphalt to read! :mad

I'm on Dialup AOL and I don't have to much trouble. You must have a REALLY slow connection. I think most that use this forum have a higher speed connection so it's not much of a problem for the majority.

I agree %100 McShagger. R94lt1, it's not the speed he's talking about, it's that the pictures are so damn wide that you have to scroll side to side to read the posts.

personally, i cant stand how those HUGE pics make reading the posts impossible... there really does need to be a size limitation on the pics...

I've complained about this for sometime now.
Why do some people always think bigger is better???????

Talk about taking up server space.

I used to think so too, but after being around here for a while I got used to seeing fairly large pictures in the sigs. Now I kind of like the variety. However, there are some that are just too big and make the reading a pain when you have to scroll from left to right then back.

Well since we are complaining, why is it that some post (such as this one) causes me to have to scroll side to side to read it. Its to big for my screen. Is there some setting I can change to correct this?? Thanks for your help.

I like looking at the pictures also but the wide pictures make it a pain in the butt to read the posts. I have a 17" monitor and I still need to move left/right to read a post. Remember most people have a 15" or maybe 17" monitor and getting a bigger monitor is not an option. Keep the pictures big, but make them no bigger then the screen width of the post, then we will all be happy.

Just my 2¢

I turned OFF the photos... for 2 reasons, 1) my dial up connection is kinda slow, & 2) Personally HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE SAME "BIIIIIGGGGG" PHOTO?

Well...I'd rather see some big photo's every now and then than the signatures that are a page full of BS. Or a page full of every single option, tiny modification, or broken part on somebody's car. Or a signature full of lines with only two words so that it takes up the entire screen. That being said, the signatures do help to get a feeling of what kind of person is posting. Personality wise, anyway. :) Some are reserved, some almost not even there...and some are way over the top. Kind of a reflection on our group.
