Default Could use some help.

I could really use some help on this one. I have a 91 that I am in the process of selling (saving for another corvette in the near future), and as I was showing the car to a potential buyer, he looked under the car (passenger front near bumper) and he noticed a small plug ( looked like a small electrical plug, but both holes on the plug were rounded) sort of hanging loosely. does anybody now what this plug is (All headlights and electrical are working fine,, or seem to be). I know it is tough without a picture, but I thought someone might know.

Thanks

I don't know how it would be hanging down, but is it possibly realted to the underhood lights? I know I leave mine unplugged, although usually those plugs are inside down near the nose. Justr a thought.--Bob

Default Hoodlights work.

Hood lights work (or at least they did at different points yesterday, I will double check), the plug itself is sort of under the radiator area on the passenger front, the plug looks to be like this (o-o) with two same size holes.

Thanks.

If the car was equipt with the aux boost fan, I believe that would be the plug for the electric fan motor.

Could that be your outside air temp?

Default Hmmm.

My C4 is pretty plain, I will check on the outside temp reading,, regarding Aux fan,, now that might be interesting to find out. I am highly intrigued to find out what it is. Thanks, if any other ideas come up, please let know.

Thanks

Default Alright.

So, I do not have an outside air temp option. Regarding the aux boost fan,,,hmm,,so could the wire be there and the car not have the actual fan,,I don't see an aux fan anywhere.....

Thanks for the help too, I do appreciate it.

That sounds plausible.
Usually the OEM's make one harness that has all the connectors for every possible option. If the car doesn't come with the option, then that connector isn't used...but it's still there.
