Default Brake booster adjusting?

I have just put new pads , and rotors on my 90 coupe. The brakes work just fine and stop very well. However the pedal is a little low,I would just like it a little higher. I read in other brake threads that you can adjust the rod on the brake booster. I have bled the lines. Does anybody have any experiance with this and can help me get the pedal a little higher? Allentown Ernie.

The rod adjustment inside the brake booster is a very sensitive adjust for the amount of vacuum boost, not for pedal height adjustment. You'll want to leave that one alone.

Very sensitive and does very little to give you more peddle. You can lock up the pads easily, scorching and glazing the rotors.
