Default Working Vettes

Does anyone use their vettes for work? I just got a job offer and I have to use my own car. I know there will be lots of driving. They seem to be offering quite a bit for car use/gas/milage. Is using my car a good idea?

I think we all know getting in and out of a vette several times a day can be a real pain in the body parts. At the end of the day you might feel the pain. You also have to consider the mileage-vs-value issue. And the thought of having people aim at your vette all day long..... well, not for me.

I do...but of course I did not buy a brand new or low mileage vette to worry about either. I bought a worker car, not a show car.

Yeah me. I bought my vette to drive it. Zip around to meetings and whatnot. Love drving the stuffing out of the vette. BTW, I write off all maintenance, ammenities "for work purposes" gas and mileage.

The sign won't stick to the top, cars are fiberglass remember! Sign has to go in the back window.

Oh, and to answer your original question. YES! I used my car for work on a daily basis till the motor went. I'd never complain about having to drive our Vette for work.
