The drivers door on my Corvette sags a bit after opening, not a lot, but enough to be a little annoying. It's a typical problem I believe. My question is how to fix it. New Hinges? New Bushings? ??? Is it difficult??? Should I have a Corvette shop do it?
Looking for opinions.
Thanks in advance!
I did a search, but I couldn't find anything specific to our C-4's so I hope someone out there has played around with the hinges.
Most likely bushings, they are available at Autozone. Check the brass bushing for being ovaled out. It's fairly easy to change them out. (do one hinge at a time).
email me with you home email add and i'll send you Gordon K's - Door and Window RR - Bloomington Gold... should fix your issues.
Also: if you search for TJWong, CF member, he has a shop in Tac and does vette and other hot rod work, very smart guy, also does dyno's and custom chip programming... but best he has a shop, honest and owns C4, tell him vinnies87 sent you...
