Am I nuts ?
I also want to bring the dog because he is my bud, and he is a good dog.
80lb, Sheep Dog, Shaved (so no shedding)
Well I did it. I didnt think I would ever do something like this to my car, but it just seemed like I had to try to have the best of both worlds, my dog and my vette. Oh and trust me I am the **** keep your car spot less garage queen guy. Also must mention that my car is very clean, and the int is perfect for an 85.
So I pushed the pass seat up and moved it forward. Put the top in the garage in a safe spot. Put a sheet down in the back, and then put one of thoose 6 foot body pillows from the back of the car, behind the seat, and then covering the door frame and paint, etc.
Helped him in and out nice and slow, and he just layed in the back, NO feet on the center console !
At first the muffler elims scared him, but he settled in and loved the top off !
Over all it was very nerve racking but it worked out OK.
I figured I better try this why he is still a puppy, if im ever going to do this (11 months)
PS let me say I also hate cats, and would never let a cat near my car.
Just thought I would share, Ill post a pic if I dare to do this again, oh and one of thoose floow matts for the back would be perfect for me now !!! But this wont be to often...
Dan
