Exhaust
Hi all, Im startin to look for new exhaust for the vette. I would appreciate any advise as to which to choose. Also if any of you have any sound bites of what there exhaust sounds like, I would love to hear :D So overall im lookin for best sound and performance that is not too $$$ ;)

Do a search for sound files... theres quite a few out there... My vote goes for the Corsa's because of fit, finish and sound quailty is great. Looking around $850.00+ thou...

One of the catalogs (Mid America I think) has a CD with like 40 different exhaust sounds on it. You send them a few bucks for the CD then they discount that fee if you buy a system from them. Also check the Forum Mall here on the net - one of the vendors had a nice deal in July selling the Corsa system for $750. Many surveys had the Corsa as the most popular system. Not the loudest, not the most expensive, low resonance, nice looking, good fit, etc.

I like the Corsa's, but I had straight thru pipes welded to my LT-1 tips for Cheap. It sounds awesome. Look at the Magnaflow's too, they seem to be a bargain and look great if you get the polished stainless cases.

Another vote for Corsa. I had muffler eliminators made for our `96, but in the convertible there was too much resonance. The Corsa system is not as loud as some, but still sounds great. When they advertise "no resonance" you can believe it. Watch the Corvette Forum Mall - I got ours for $725 + shipping.

Just had Magneflows installed with stainless Y pipe, new cat and chrome mufflers with built in tips. Sounds great, look great. 750.00 installed.
