Default Need help please

Okay here is the situation. I got this 98. The current confirguration on the car when I got it is that it had some Z06 upgrades. Now the suspension was also upgraded to the Z06 as well and the existing ride control was disabled. Everything was fine, no messages. Over the weekend I had a stereo system put in. THe battery was disconnected and it died a time or two. They put it on the charger and that was that. When I left everything was working as normal ( except the key fob but I didn't know it then). When I got home and went to use the fob to lock the doors there was nothing. I brought the car back today for them to check out the problem. The fob needed to be set again. I thought so but I did not want to mess with anything just in case. While resetting the fob ( which they did ) now I'm getting the following messages on the computer display:

Service ride control
Shocks inoperative
Maximum Speed 80 mph

We disconnected the battery to see if that would get rid of it but it is still there. I know the maximum speed part coincides with the ride control.

How can I get it back to normal the way it was before? AND, when the " Maximum speed 80 mph" is activated is that the max speed I can go? I could really use some help with this.
