Hello All!
I'm just a new guy checking in. I've been reading the forum for quite some time and finally decided to join. I've been a proud owner of a 1994 LT-1 convertible for about seven years now. Like many of you I've wanted a Vette since childhood (always loved sports cars, but my dad never bought anything without four doors). I don't drive due to poor vision, but my friends don't mind taking the wheel. But hey, you don't need a license to own one and I'm having a lot of fun!
Feel free to say hi or e-mail me (I believe my profile's set up right), I'll try to be responsive, I'm almost always on the go, and don't spend too much of my spare time on the computer since I make a living doing 3D modeling on it, but this place looks fun, so I'lll probably get addicted.

A big welcome to our addiction. You are right, owning a Vette is tons of fun. Nice vert you have there as well. We lived in Montgomery area way back when for several years and loved that area, and our daughter and her family recently moved away from Cincy and moved all the way to Reynoldsburg. So I am somewhat familiar with Cincy, a nice town. Computer animation? Nice! The only way I can animate mine is when I get pissed and throw things at it--doesn't help it.

I have a question for you. Do you remember the AHL hockey team from the mid 70's, the Swords?
They were the fam team of the Buffalo Sabres back then, I'm trying to gather info on them.

aminnich, I live in Kenwood, not more than a couple miles from Montgomery, the mall is out my living room window. If you haven't been there in a while, you won't recognize the Montgomery area (almost). They're adding on to the main drag around the Inn, and Homearama is there this year. The new neighborhood will include shopping and apartments eventually, so it won't be just another subdivision, more like an extension of the small downtown area.
Dave- I don't follow sports and have only lived here about a dozen years so I don't remember the team from the 70's, I think we have a Cyclones hockey team now but if I'm wrong, enjoy laughing at me. I'd have trouble naming one Bengals or Reds player. The only time I seem to hear about them is when one of the Bengals gets arrested, I guess money doesn't buy intelligence.
