C4 & Miles/ They go long!
My 96 C4 has 54,000 miles on it, 4,000 of which I put on it in the last 60 days, I plan to drive it daly through October and figure I'll end up with about 65,000 by Novenber, then rest it until April and use the 4X4 during winter. Concerned about high milleage, I went to the used corvette site and just wanted to get an idea of miles verse price on C4's, WOW! our babbies run a long time, I was amazed at how many good lookin C4's were over 100,000 miles and still advertised as runnin strong. One 92 units has 201,000 miles and the picture looked great and the description made it sound very solid. Good to know the C4 will lasat a long time! Anybody no of any over 200,000 miles.

I've seen several C4's, L98's and Lt1's run well over 200,000 miles if properly cared for. It's the electrical gremlins and accessories that will drive you nuts as they get up in miles.

I now have 218,000 with the stock bottom end (cam, block, pistons etc). Bolt on mods. I went to the track first of June and ran the 1/4 at 13.6 at 102. My son ran the car also and ran a 13.7 at 104.1 MPH.
Not too bad for an old car.

Pfffft. Mine's well over 200K. And that's a conservative figure. I had to estimate, because the odo broke after 123K, so I extrapolated using my yearly job commute mileage. Mine's a dd so I took it everywhere.

Bought my 92 with 164k for $5K 8 months ago. Runs great. New paint but needs weather stripping. Still looks good.

Yeah they do, the problem is that some owners still think the car is worth a MINT even though it has 150k on the clock, What's worse is when the car LOOKS Like it has 150k on the clock and they STILL want 12 grand for it
