As some of you know, my brother has purchased a yellow '96. I warned him about the rims, but he wanted a nice C-yellow C4. So I advised him he should buy it anyways. He doesnt seem to care about the rims.
What kind of rims are these? Personally, I think the rims look nice, but NOT on a Corvette. :U My other question is how much would it cost to get ZR1 rims or Z06 rims to replace all 4?
You could prolly sell those to someone with a Camaro or the likes .... TPIS has repo ZR1 style rims for as low as $176 a wheel... thats about the best I've seen.
Sweet car he's got.. but those wheels...

You'll be looking at roughly $1,200 to $1,800 for the wheels depending where you buy them. Check the C5 section and the ZR-1 section to see if anyone is selling wheels. Don't forget, you're gonna need tires to fit the new rims too. If of course you buy 17 X 11" rear ZR-1 wheels, or 18 X 10.5" rear Z06 wheels. That could add quite a few extra bucks.
Got mine off of ebay, they were blemished wheels that afs was selling. Picked them up for $800, and when they got to my door I couldnt find a single scratch on them. They mount ed and balanced tires on them for another $850. Total to my door and ready to go was right around $1750 for all four wheels, tires, and center caps with emblem.:)
I did the same thing as JPLT1 with EBAY. You deal with AFS directly for the transaction so not danger in getting ripped off-if you are worried about that (I was).

I wouldn't go with Z06 rims. They look like crap on a C4 NOT !!!! :jester My understanding is that one of the bigger vette catalogs is carrying them now. I don't know the price. I went with 9.5" x 17"'s all around due to a tire wear problem I can't seem to get fixed. Damn thing wears the rears out a lot faster than the fronts. Any ideas on why? I need to be able to rotate them so I went the same front/rear. Mine are NOT repo's but true GM forged rims. They are MUCH lighter than my factory sawblades were.
