I just got tired of working on it every weekend. It was taking up too much of my time, too many things that didnt work like they should, and it wasn't getting any more valuable with all the money I was funneling into it. I still love c4s, and hope to own another one some day, but I needed a daily driver that was more reliable and better built. I bought a 350z. Flame suit is on now...

I have a bone stock '86E that has never, and I do mean never, let me down. Seems every sad story of unreliability that I hear on this forum is from the cars that have been modified, much like yours was. Sorry to hear someone else will be purchasing your nightmare soon. I'm sure we'll hear from them soon...
not like the other poor dumb fool here recently that got rid of his C4 and spent a choke-whopping $35k for some fugly fat heavy dodge hemi (who gives a crap about a hemi, it ain't a hemi).
I have almost at times wanted to trade my vette in for a 350z . Those cars are sweet looking. After owning my 05 Nissan Xterra for almost 2 years now... I love it! I wouldn't mind another Nissan!
I don't blame you though on always working on it every weekend. I feel the same way at times. Everytime I feel like trading it in.. I feel guilty for even thinking it! However I might just buy a 350z. Who knows?
I had a '72 Datsun 240z for a couple of years as my fun car. I finally sold it because I was tired of working on it. With the 2 nearly worn-out SU1 carbs, it took as much time tuning and balancing as it did driving.
best of luck, stay lurking in teh shadows till you pick up another C4!
Will do. I hope to get a C5 for my next car. Look out in the next week or so, I'm going to start selling off all the c4 parts I have laying around the house.
