New to the forum and just purchased a 1977 coupe. Here was some extra chrome I got. I am sure most of you may know what it goes to but I have absolutely no clue. Thans and your response will be appreciated.

Hmmm...my best guess would be spark plug dress-up wire covers.

Those are the left and right vertical ignition shields. The distributor should have a chrome cover over the top. These shields cover the ignition wires from the chrome top shield down vertically on each side of the engine near the firewall. There are 3 horizontal pieces (2 outer and one "banana shaped" inner piece)of shielding on each side covering the wires and the spark plugs. They are fastened to the engine with special brackets and "wing bolts." I think Paragon's catalog has a picture of the whole shield setup. http://www.corvette-paragon.com/cata...2-0C4CF3DA67F5
